Re: C5 HDi wont start, just clicking - Fixed. Well after checking the earth wires and finding nothing wrong, we decided it must be the relay/fuse box, just next to the ECU. This is where the smoke came from when the starter motor jammed. Its a sealed un unit and does not allow for the replacement of single relays.

Remove : The air union (2) The air union (3) CAUTION : Cover the openings of the air inlet circuit . Unclip and move aside the manual priming pump ( 4). Move aside the manual diesel priming pump support .
